Voice policy

Every voice is synthetic
Voxmint's catalogue voices were created for Voxmint, and the voices you design come from a written description. Voxmint does not clone voices from recordings, so it cannot make a copy of you, a client or anyone else.
What you may not do
- Imitate a real, identifiable person, for example by naming a celebrity, public figure or anyone you know in a voice description.
- Present generated audio as the real voice of an identifiable person, or make people believe they are hearing a real person when that would deceive them.
- Use the audio for fraud, scams, impersonation or harassment.
- Generate content that sexualises minors, or anything else that breaks the law.
These rules are part of our Terms of Service. We may remove voices and suspend accounts that break them, and our staff may review generations to prevent abuse.
Telling your audience
Narration, explainers and characters are what Voxmint is for, and they don't need a disclaimer on every clip. Say that a voice is AI-generated wherever a listener could otherwise be misled, and follow the rules of the platform you publish on: some, YouTube among them, ask creators to label realistic synthetic content.
Report misuse
If you find Voxmint audio being used to imitate someone or to deceive people, write to support@voxmint.app with a link and what you found. We read every report.
